However there are several challenges peculiar to India that may constrain a full-scale digital transition in the foreseeable future. The race to go digital cannot be turned into a marathon sprint. To bridge this gap, Mahindra Rural Housing Finance Ltd. in association with Mahindra Finance undertook a nationwide exercise to raise awareness on various digital payment methods available to the rural population. It launched a financial literacy campaign to Go Cashless from Dec '16 to April '17. More than 5000 employees volunteered in this initiative across six states. </div>

In order to ensure that the campaign reached out to maximum rural households, the campaign was conducted in local languages. The show will feature famous poet Gopaldas Neeraj along with some renowned Hindi journalists, Hindi literate and poets like- Dr. Kumar Vishwas, Navneet Hullad Moradabadi, Waheed Naqvi, Shambhu Shikhar, Anamika Amber Jain, Ramkripal Singh and Sheshnarayan Singh in a “Hasya Kavi Sammelan”.</div>

In a bid to boost the Indian Hockey, Harendra Singh has been appointed as the new coach of The Indian Senior Women Hockey. Joint Committee Meeting of SAI and HI held at SAI,appointed Harendra Singh, Dronacharya Awardee, Hockey Coach as High Performance Specialist Coach for Indian Senior Women Hockey Team.</div>

This decision has been taken jointly by SAI and Hockey India on the basis of recent and past performance of Shri Harendra Singh, wherein under his coaching the junior men team won the Junior Men World Cup in 2016 at Lucknow.</div>

He was also the Chief Coach of the Senior Men Hockey team from 2008 to 2009 and National coach from 2009 to 2010. He is a Level III certified Coach. Mr Harendra Singh will take over the new responsibility shortly.</div>

Piyush Goyal took over as the New Minister of Railways in Rail Bhavan today i.e.04th September, 2017. He is also Minister of Coal. Prior to this, he was Minister of State (Independent Charge) of Ministries of Power; Coal; New and Renewable Energy & Mines. Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, Minister of Commerce and Industry & former Minister of Railways was specially present to hand over the charge to Shri Piyush Goyal.</div>
