Rahul Gandhi elected Congress president, will take over reins on Dec 16
Ultimately the Yuvraj Rahul Gandhi has been elected as the Congress president unopposed and now he will take the reins of  the party on December 16. Certainly it is the much awaited moment for each and every leaers and workers of the party for which many times they have been soughted for the same. 

The Congress party’s central election authority announced for his election. With his election, now he will take over the reins of the party from  his mother, Sonia Gandhi. Neeless to say, Sonia Ganhi has serve the post as the longest time...for 19 years. 

The generational shift of the party post is very crucial for Rahul Ganhi and he has very challenges ahead in the way. He has to face 2019 Lok Sabha elections and there is much on the stake for party. 

Apart from these, he has also plays crucial role in unifying an lead to opposition which is completely in scattered way. 

Meanwhile Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Rahul on his election as Congress president. With his tweet, Modi said,“My best wishes for a fruitful tenure.”
